I came across this picture and thought it might be a timely warning. Can't remember the exact date - perhaps someone else can? I think it was about 1989. We had 5 inches (125 mm) rain in 20 minutes. This is the debris at the top flat above the old volleyball court, where the pecan tree is near the top road crossing now.

We played golf the other day (Kerry W, Peter Johnston and me, with Helen as score-master). At the fourth green there is shed which has a marker showing the level of the TWO floods in April 1989 - the dates are something like the 4th and the 26th of April. There would have been a lot of country covered in water and debris. John
